Your personal information is treated with the highest confidentiality. I am committed 100% to each client's privacy.  My intention is that what is shared in the treatment room stays in the treatment room.

The personal information collected when you book an appointment and complete an intake form is used only for purposes such as providing safe and appropriate reflexology and reiki services, scheduling and confirming appointments, responding to your inquiries and meeting insurance receipt requirements (when applicable). 

When clients first visit the clinic at a healing table, a simple intake form is completed. Your personal information is treated with the highest confidentiality. The intake form contains basic information about any current ailments, pain or injury and a history of serious injuries, disease or surgeries. Completed intake forms are used to see how clients' reported pain and ailments improve over time. 

Any information and details from clients is never shared. All conversations and information expressed during your sessions are kept strictly private, including session notes, personal details and health information.  Reasonable safeguards are in place to protect your personal information, including secure storage of client records and limited access to your information.

Your personal details, health information, and session notes will not be shared with anyone without your written consent, except where required by law. Confidentiality may be limited as required by law IF there is reason to believe there is risk of serious harm to yourself or others; or IF records are subpoenaed by a court of law. 

If a situation arises, only the minimum necessary information will be shared.

This policy reflects the privacy principles outlined in Ontario's PERSONAL HEALTH INFORMATION PROTECTION ACT (PHIPA).

As a client in Ontario you have the right to: 

• Ask questions about how your information is handled
• Request access to your personal health information
• Request corrections to your records
• Request updates to your personal information
• Withdraw or withhold consent for certain uses (subject to to legal or professional obligations)
